Cara T. Keefe graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Business Marketing in 2005.  In 2010, Ms. Keefe graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law and School of Business with a Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration.  Ms. Keefe was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2010.  She also is admitted to the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Ms. Keefe joined the firm in 2017 as an Associate.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Keefe practiced law at McCarter & English, LLP and represented national corporate clients in complex tort and commercial litigation matters.  Ms. Keefe is experienced in working with a corporation’s general counsel and employees in the development of a client’s legal defense strategy.  Prior to practicing law, Ms. Keefe clerked at the Connecticut Appellate Court for Judge Joseph P. Flynn and Justice Francis M. McDonald. 

Ms. Keefe’s practice is concentrated in defending civil matters, including claims in the area of premises liability, contractor liability, product liability, general tort liability and defense of automobile, trucking and under insured motorist claims.

Ms. Keefe is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford County Bar Association and Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association.  Ms. Keefe is active in the young lawyers and women’s section of the Primerus Defense Institute.

Ms. Keefe is an elected member of the Town Council for the Town of Glastonbury. Ms. Keefe is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to represent claimants in various matters before the VA.  She also is an avid runner and member of the Glastonbury River Runners.

Ms. Keefe is married and lives in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
